Pest Control Terms for Washington

What General Pest Control Covers
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to General Pest Control services provided by Washington Pest Solutions when you approve a service proposal or schedule work. The covered work is limited to the pests, areas, and treatment methods described in that proposal.
It may include inspection and treatment of accessible areas for the listed pests, along with practical recommendations for reducing conditions that attract them. Services not listed, including specialized pest work, exclusion or construction repairs, cleanup, and treatment of hidden or inaccessible spaces, require a separate written agreement.
We will explain any proposed change in scope and obtain your approval before proceeding. Pesticides are used only as permitted by applicable directions and law.
This includes FIFRA label requirements, Washington’s Pesticide Control Act (RCW 15.58), Pesticide Application Act (RCW 17.21), and WAC 16-228. Applicators must hold required Washington State Department of Agriculture credentials. Follow product directions and any written preparation or re-entry instructions we provide.
Setting, Changing, or Canceling a Visit
Appointments are arranged through Washington Pest Solutions and are subject to technician availability, access, and the service area. We will confirm the expected visit window and any preparation or access instructions available at booking.
Please make sure an adult can provide access and tell us about pets, occupants, or conditions that could affect service. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an appointment.
Any cancellation charge or other requirement will be disclosed before it applies; no particular fee is created by these terms alone. Weather, safety concerns, access problems, or other circumstances may require us to reschedule, and we will contact you to arrange another time.
If inspection shows that the requested work differs from the approved service, we will explain the change and seek your approval before doing additional work. A new visit or expanded treatment may require a separate appointment or agreement.
How Estimates and Payment Work
Before work begins, Washington Pest Solutions will provide the price or pricing method for the service being proposed. An estimate reflects the information available at the time and may need revision if inspection reveals different conditions, access needs, or requested work.
We will explain a proposed price or scope change and obtain your approval before performing the additional work. Do not treat an estimate as approval for services beyond those it describes.
Payment is due as stated in the written proposal, invoice, or other terms provided for your booking. If no separate due date is stated, payment is due when the service is completed and invoiced.
Ask us to clarify any charge you do not understand. These terms do not establish a specific service price, financing plan, or payment method.
Applicable taxes or other disclosed charges will be shown with the estimate or invoice. Contact us promptly if you believe an invoice does not match the approved work.
Written Warranty Terms Apply
Washington Pest Solutions will perform approved work with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable pesticide labels and laws. These terms do not create a general warranty, promise a particular outcome, or set a standard coverage period.
Pest activity can depend on conditions outside a treatment, including entry points, sanitation, neighboring properties, and changes in the building or environment. Any warranty, retreatment commitment, duration, or eligibility requirement applies only if it is stated in writing for the specific service.
That written agreement controls the covered pests, locations, and steps needed to request service. Coverage may not apply to pests or areas outside the agreement, new activity after the covered period, or conditions that prevent access or conflict with treatment instructions.
We will not treat a service as covered based on an oral assurance alone. If you have a written warranty, contact us using the details below and identify the service date and concern so we can review its terms.
Responsibility for Service and Existing Conditions
To the extent allowed by law, Washington Pest Solutions’ responsibility for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot legally be limited.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, building conditions, or pest activity caused by factors outside the agreed work. You are responsible for providing accurate information, arranging safe access, and following written preparation and post-treatment directions.
We do not exclude responsibility for our own failure to use reasonable care or for pesticide use that violates applicable requirements. Pesticide work must follow the product label and governing rules, including FIFRA, RCW 15.58, RCW 17.21, and WAC 16-228.
Nothing here reduces rights or duties imposed by Washington law or applicable pesticide regulations. Please notify us promptly if you believe service caused damage or did not follow the approved scope.
Questions About These Terms
For questions about these terms or an approved service, contact Washington Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@washingtonpestsolutions.top. Mail may be sent to Columbia Center, 701 5th Ave, Seattle, WA.
Please include your name, service address, appointment or invoice details, and a clear description of your question. We may update these terms from time to time.
The current version will be posted with the page, with an updated date when available; material changes may also be communicated through a notice or other reasonable contact method. Updates apply to services booked after the revised terms take effect unless the notice or applicable law says otherwise.
The agreement provided for a particular service governs that work if it contains terms specific to the service. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. These terms do not waive any consumer rights that cannot be waived under Washington law.
Daniel Mercer
Service Expert at Washington Pest Solutions
I started in pest control in the Seattle area, where wet winters, older homes, and damp crawl spaces make prevention as important as treatment. I built this company to give Washington homeowners clear inspections and practical options, with work guided by state pesticide licensing requirements.
